Marketing: Unmasked

We had the distinct pleasure to attend the official book launch of Marketing: Unmasked, a book written by High Velocity Friends Stephanie Frost and Erik Wolf.

ATLANTA – Dr. Fred Broder’s Does Your Life Need A Laxative? is one of those reads that might just change your life. He writes about purging, cleansing, and expelling the actions we take in our daily lives that work against us, that sabotage our ability to live a happy, productive life.

Dr. Broder has fast become a true friend to the High Velocity family. He has guest posted on this blog, and he has been featured on the High Velocity Radio Show. OK, we are back from the Orlando tour stop on the Video Dust Jacket World Tour. What a great trip. We met and got to know a bunch of great authors, and we cannot wait to share them – and their stories – with you!

The highlight of day two was visiting with Thom Scott. He partners with Bob Burg, and helps authors and speakers go to market and also coordinates Extreme Business Makeovers. We learned a lot from him, and look forward to a long term friendship – and the pleasure of working with him!

We are off to the studio today to bang out a few more interviews with Atlanta-based authors. We will catch up with you soon!

The High Velocity boys learned a ton — met some incredibly engaging, passionate business authors, and captured some marvelous footage to share with you soon.

Yet another “Author’s Perspective” interview or two to conduct back in Atlanta tomorrow (Friday 10/23), High Velocity Radio Show Monday 10/26, sequestered in the editing suite for much of the week, then we gear up for Charlotte and other points unknown.

Well, the first official day of the Video Dust Jacket Tour is coming to a close. As of this writing, we are in our suite at the Caribe Royale preparing for a full day of interviews on Wednesday, October 21st. We have a very exciting line-up of business authors to interview and feature tomorrow.

Today, however, was a travel day from Atlanta to Orlando. The video above shows a few bits from the road trip. Started out from Atlanta late morning, had lunch at Ole Times County Buffet in Tifton, dinner at a local wing joint just outside of Disney World, and then we did some logistics work in our suite.

So, check back in with us tomorrow night, and we will tell you all about the authors we had the great fortune to meet!

Atlanta – Today, again live from Corporate Office Centers (Atlanta/Glenlake), Stone Payton and I completed another Video Dust Jacket interview with author Fred Broder, Phd., who penned the book Does Your Life Need A Laxative? Stone and I enjoyed our time with Fred, and learned the value of monitoring your life’s dashboards, and the power of just being yourself.

It was a very engaging interview with Fred, and we also look forward to having him as a guest on Monday’s High Velocity Radio Show as well!

Gatorland!

We are looking forward to hitting the road next week, as we head to Orlando! Don’t worry, Stone and I will be tweeting and video blogging from the road! We will keep you up to speed on the journey…

The trip tik may be changing a bit, as we are likely shifting our travel plans from Cincinnati to Charlotte. So stay tuned here, and we will share the details of the next stop on the Video Dust Jacket World Tour!

Atlanta – Today Stone Payton and myself conducted another author’s perspective interview with Steven Bistritz, co-author of Selling to the C-Suite. The book, just recently released, is a phenomenal research-based examination about how to sell to, and how to reach – the C-level executive.
