SPEED® School launches next week (December 7, 2009), so we’ve been shooting a bunch of brief videos — short clips describing the value and purpose of each Lap (each module), explaining the process, fielding anticipated Frequently Anticipated Questions, etc.
Normally, these have been “One Take” pieces – just me, Todd and / or the Instructor sharing a brief, unscripted message setting the context for that particular Lap. This last shoot was different though. We were struggling a bit on the video we wanted for the “Drop Out” page.
After hearing us talk it through for the 3rd time between unsuccessful takes, my brother (in town for the holiday) really understood what we were trying to communicate — and suggested what I think turned out to be a pretty cool approach:

** The URL shown at the end (MySpeedSchool.com) isn’t “Live” yet — but definitely will be on or before December 7. We hope you choose to check it out, and see what SPEED® School is all about.
- See ya in the Fast Lane . . .
