Thanks so much Stone, Todd and Lee. I had a great time doing the show. I am always happy to give tips on improving marketing and communications for companies. I touched upon some basics dealing with website design, social media marketing, PR, and using video to market effectively. Here are my TOP 5 Marketing Tips people will find helpful:
1. Develop multiple newsletters to send to different segments of your customer base for higher conversion rates when selling products. Customers need to know that you understand their specific needs. You can increase your sales by 35% by doing this.
2. Conduct free Webinars to develop client relationships and build your client base.
3. Write multiple eBooks and give them away with other paid products and services. Clients love free things.
4. Send quality articles to top industry magazine to become a columnist. This is great for publicity, search engines, and building client base. I have gotten some clients columns on Inc.com and their sales have increased by 30%.
5. Have Facebook contests to get people to learn more about your business and to get opinions about what you offer. Example: A new writer like Gareth Young can have a book jacket design contest with a prize, to get people to sign up to his fan page and get friends to vote for a winner to encourage more people to join.
