Gary’s message, which has been consistent since I have been watching him, has really only been about three things: being passionate about what you do, working your tail off in pursuit of that passion, and to care about people.
It’s the third one I want to touch on today. Caring. Caring about your network, your community.
Here’s how it works: If you care about your community, you will take steps to give value to them, to serve them.
As a result, your community will respond by spreading the word about what you do, say, and stand for. And they will do this for two reasons, to serve their own communities, but also to help you.
